Domestic & Sexual Violence Services
We provide a range of services, including a 24-hour hotline, emergency and transitional shelters, and victim advocacy programs.
Community Education
Prevention driven education is provided to thousands of individuals every year throughout the Mohawk Valley. Children and adults a like are given the skills and knowledge necessary to stop the cycle of violence.
Housing
We serve women and their children at two emergency shelters and a transitional housing facility. We also provide housing and programming for teenage girls seeking a safe and supportive place to call home.
Child Advocacy Center
The YWCA of the Mohawk Valley uses a collaborative team approach working with the assistance of local law enforcement to insure that sexual crimes committed against children are investigated and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
