Crossroads: choosing a safe, healthier path
The Crossroads batterers intervention program is a 26-week trauma-informed curriculum that works directly with individuals in the Mohawk Valley who have been mandated by the courts to engage in programming related to domestic violence offenses.
This fee-based program focuses on domestic violence, accountability, and self-care.
Crossroads utilizes a cognitive and behavioral approach that is strengths based and solution focused. Weekly classes and activities focus on education surrounding what constitutes abusive behavior and promotes personal responsibility for such behavior. The program stimulates introspection and teaches non-violent conflict resolution.
