Crossroads: choosing a safe, healthier path
The Crossroads batterers intervention program is a 26-week trauma-informed curriculum that works directly with individuals in the Mohawk Valley who have been mandated by the courts to engage in programming related to domestic violence offenses.
This fee-based program focuses on domestic violence, accountability, and self care.
Crossroads utilizes a cognitive and behavioral approach that is strengths-based and solution focused. Weekly classes and activities focus on education surrounding what constitutes abusive behavior and promotes personal responsibility for such behavior. The program stimulates introspection and teaches non-violent conflict resolution.
