It’s back!purchase a purple ribbon during october @ participating locations

Our annual Purple Ribbon Campaign returns for Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM) 2022 in partnership with numerous supporters from across Oneida County. Participation in our signature campaign is open to all interested businesses, organizations, groups, and individuals in the community!

Throughout October, participating sellers will offer paper purple ribbons for a suggested donation of $1 to support YWCA Mohawk Valley’s efforts to end domestic violence in our community. The ribbons will be put on display through the end of the month, creating a visual showcase of support for survivors everywhere. Awareness signs are also available for business and organizations who want to expand their displays or individuals looking to add some purple to their yard! October is nationally recognized as DVAM, symbolized by the purple ribbon. All proceeds stay local and directly benefit YWCA MV’s 24-hour free and confidential domestic violence crisis services and programming.
