honoring the memory of loved ones lost to domestic violence,
and showing survivors that they are not alone
Virtual Rally
– 6 p.m. virtual rally on Zoom
– led by YWCA MV CEO Dianne Stancato
March
– instead of an in-person march, we created Steps to Stop Violence: a pledge to walk 982 steps before Take Back to honor the 982 domestic violence survivors we served at YWCA MV in 2019
– total steps taken will be announced as part of the virtual rally
Speak Out
– held on Zoom after rally & moderated by YWCA MV advocates
– for survivors to share their stories in a confidential and safe setting
Candlelight Vigil
– virtual attendees are invited to light a candle during speak out to honor a loved one or other survivors in the group
