What We Do

If you or a child you know has been affected by sexual violence, please contact us. Our team of trained experts and range of services are available free of charge, and always confidential. We offer medical and legal advocacy and accompaniment, as well as counseling and hope.

Our services are child-friendly. We take care to make our spaces comfortable and safe for our clients, including an on-site medical examination room, therapy room, interview room, and family waiting area. Throughout their time with us, our clients and their non-offending family members are our top priority.

Counseling services are also available to adult survivors of child abuse and sexual violence.

The CAC serves as a home base for a multidisciplinary team in Herkimer County. This team is dedicated to serving child victims of abuse and sexual violence. Through this large-scale partnership, we can ensure the uniform handling of child abuse and sexual violence cases throughout the county.
