Position Overview
The Campus Advocate will provide advocacy and accompaniment to victims of sexual assault on through the process developed on campuses, including navigating Title IX policies and procedures. Provide a trauma-informed approach to victims of sexual assault. Assist campus Title IX coordinators working with victims of sexual assault by assisting victims in understanding their rights as a sexual assault survivor. Assist victims with safety plans, information, and referrals to campus services and/or community agencies as needed. Provide crisis intervention and supportive counseling to victims/survivors of sexual violence.
